Procrastination
You have the best intentions.  You even get a little of it done every now and then.  But somewhere, in the back of your mind perhaps, looms this overwhelming feeling that the task or tasks before you are never going to be finished.

If you've felt this way, you may have a tendency toward procrastination.  It's an issue for most of us at some point -- usually when we take on a task for the first time or repeat a task we don't enjoy doing.

Some people, by comparison, seem to breeze through life.  They are so efficient and motivated, it astounds you how much they get done in a day.  You may suspect they don't sleep or abuse amphetamines to be so productive, but in most cases they just learned a skill that we forget or never learned:  Focus on the next step, not the whole process.

A spiritual teacher of mine used to summarize productivity and direction in life thusly:  You check the horizon periodically to make sure you're headed in the right direction, but look down at your feet before you take the next step.  If you walked along always focussed on your distant goal, you would be more likely to stumble or get lost.

Hypnotherapy is an excellent tool for changing your focus.  Your subconscious will start coming up with smaller tasks you can accomplish quickly instead of producing excuses for procrastinating.  For some it is as simple as learning to prioritize differently.  In such cases, 1 to 3 sessions is common.  For others, there are childhood traumas or complex relationship issues that need to be resolved to overcome the procrastination.  In those cases, 3 to 6 sessions is more common.
